In partnership with Korean American Bar Association of Northern California (KABANC), the Korean Community Center of the East Bay (KCCEB), and Korean Center SF (KCI), part of the Bay Area K-Coalition, are hosting a Bay Area Online Legal Consultation Clinic for the Korean Community. The Clinic will cover general legal issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic:
- General questions regarding Unemployment Insurance
- General questions about Tenants’ rights
- General questions about the CARES act
It will take place every Saturday between 9 am and 11 am.
Participants will be required to register beforehand. Please call 1-844-828-2254 to register by 3 pm on the Friday before the Saturday clinic. Details for calling in/video conferencing will be provided.
The information provided is confidential and will only be discussed with the volunteers attorneys of that day and the organizations participating that day. No information will be released to outside organizations or third party groups. Clients will need to sign and/or confirm a waiver for consultation to acknowledge the terms of the clinic. The services provided at this clinic are short-term limited legal services that are valid for one day only, and will not continue to represent participants after the same day limited consultation.
