In partnership with Korean American Bar Association of Northern California (KABANC), the Korean Community Center of the East Bay (KCCEB), and Korean Center SF (KCI), part of the Bay Area K-Coalition, are hosting a Bay Area Online Legal Consultation Clinic for the Korean Community. The Clinic will cover general legal issues arising from the COVID-19 pandemic:

1. General questions regarding Unemployment Insurance
2. General questions about Tenants’ rights
3. General questions about the CARES act

It will take place every Saturday between 9 am and 11 am.

Participants will be required to register beforehand. Please call 1-844-828-2254 to register by 3 pm on the Friday before the Saturday clinic. Details for calling in/video conferencing will be provided.

The information provided is confidential and will only be discussed with the volunteers attorneys of that day and the organizations participating that day. No information will be released to outside organizations or third party groups. Clients will need to sign and/or confirm a waiver for consultation to acknowledge the terms of the clinic. The services provided at this clinic are short-term limited legal services that are valid for one day only, and will not continue to represent participants after the same day limited consultation. All legal information and advice provided is solely the opinion of participating lawyers. 이 상담회는 크게 세가지 분야에 관한 개인상담으로 진행됩니다:

• 세입자로서 갖는 월세 지불, 주거지 퇴거에 관한 Tenants’ right (보호정책과 권리)
• Cares Act (코로나바이러스 지원, 구호 및 경제 안정 법) 에 관한 일반 문의

상담회는 5월 중순까지 지속되며, 매주 토요일 오전 9시에서 11시 사이에 온라인과 전화로 참여 가능합니다.이 상담회에 참여를 원하시는 분은 이스트베이 한인 봉사회 한인 정보라인 (1-844-828-2254)으로  금요일 오후 3시까지 전화하셔서 반드시 예약을 해야합니다.

이 상담회에서 제공되는 서비스는 당일 하루만 유효한, 단기 제한적인 법률 서비스로서 당일 제한된 상담 이후 계속하여 참여인를 변호하지 않을 것이며, 제공된 모든 법률 관련 정보와 조언은 전적으로 참여 변호사들의 소견으로, 북가주 변호사 협회는 이 클리닉에 참여하는 변호사들의 법적 능력 및 역량, 그리고 이들이 제공하는 법률 자문에 대하여 어떠한 보장 및 보증 (명시적 또는 묵시적)을 하지 않음을 알려드리는 바입니다.
